Full Face Transplant!

The craziest thing taking 22 hours and 30 doctors. The very first full face transplant has happened. "In a clandestine operation that took place almost a month ago in Barcelona, a man who'd lost his much of his face in a shooting accident received an entire face—skin and muscles, and as the BBC clarified, even "cheekbones, nose, lips and teeth"—from a donor." CRAZY!!! The man was a patient that formerly been unable to breathe or swallow, and now it's like nothing ever happened. He see's himself in the mirror and was "calm and satisfied." This man was very lucky but has to be on anti rejection drugs for the rest of his life.

Well now you can do both, have a cooler filled with your favorite drinks plus your favorite music, giving you the best beach day ever. You can now make a beach stereo out of your cooler. Be prepared by making your own waterproof stereo from a cooler, a car battery, and any car stereo or radio you can find.

New Liver?!

Scientists could build us those new organs using metal nano-particles suspended in a magnetic field. The idea is that while researchers have been able to "build" organs in the past, they've been doing it on a 2D surface. Since this can lead to abnormal behavior in cells, researchers had to build in 3D:
"By injecting cells with a metallic gel, the researchers have succeeded in suspending cultured cells in a three-dimensional magnetic field. With this magnetic scaffolding, organs can be grown in the right shape, and with no foreign material."
This is early research and intended for those with life-threatening need for organs.

Entertainment with Rock Paper Scissors

Play rock-paper-scissors alone was never so fun. This new playing glove learns your weaknesses. You can finally amuse yourself with just your own hand. I don't know if self-proclaimed "glove hacker" Steve Hoefer was lonely or bored when he decided to make this rock-paper-scissors playing glove which actually learns how you play and exploits your weaknesses. Seduced on PlayStation?!

The virtual world is known to be fun, a world of exciting games and adventures. But now with PlayStation home it's becoming more of a world of horny sex scandal. A 43-year-old woman seduced a 14-year-old via Home, sending the messages and photos of herself. The woman is from Florida and traveled to go visit the boy at his home, claiming to be there to talk about the kid wanting to marry her daughter. This virtual is becoming a scary place, especially because so many children play this all the time. People should be careful to who they talk to and not do anything foolish. The woman is now wanted for seducing the young boy.

Wooden Sneakers

What will they come up with next?! These hand carved wooden sneakers were designed by a french architect, Paul Coudamy, for K-Swiss footwear company. I mean they are really cool looking, there sculpted as sneakers! But it's still kind of weird to see it. The concept of Woodwalk is founded on a principle of distortion, a temporal contraction in which the Swiss country shoe of 19th century is crossed with the urban shoe of the 20th century.

Spokless new bicycle

Leave it to Yale students to invent a spokeless bike, even though it is not the first. This bike looks a lot more like a real bike than the past spokeless bikes from the past. The students did not have enough time or money to finish the bicycle but doing what they did to the back wheel wouldn't be hard to do to t he front. This is a pretty cool bike that is evolving and is for sure part of our future.

Prop. 8 trial

The Mayor of San Diego, Jerry Sanders, recently became a supporter of gay marriage and already is fighting for their rights. His daughter, Lisa Sanders, is a lesbian and wants to have the same opportunity to have a wedding in front of family, friends and co-workers. He took center stage at the Proposition 8 trial in San Francisco and showed a lot of emotion. I think that more and more people should start to fight for gays and lesbians rights. Even famous and powerful people have someone in their family that might be gay or even they might be gay and everyone should have the opportunity to have their dream wedding.

Lenovo and their clever ideas

Lenovo's IdeaPad U1, a new clever combination of multi touch tablet and a laptop. You can detach the tablet from the rest of the U1 body, like taking the monitor off of your laptop. Really cool and new exciting things. When the two halves run together they run on Windows 7 on a Intel Core 2 Duo SU processor. When you split them up the tablet runs on a custom version of Linux and a Qualcomm ARM Snapdragon processor. This means that you will be getting the best power and battery life from each scenario. Lenovo will start selling this amazing new device in June.
