WARNING!! laptop users

The future of your genes is in danger! "It has been estimated that 15–20% of couples attempting to achieve pregnancy are unable to conceive. Gradual decline in sperm production in men has become a growing concern and subject of widespread debates in the last decades." There's an increase in scrotal temperature in laptop computer users. For those who set their laptops on their laps..be careful of the heat, especially men. I doubt that men would was a decline in sperm production just because of the heat from their laptops.

Wave Door?

If your looking for this amazing door you better have an amazing house for it to open up to. Created by, Matharoo Associates for a diamond merchant in India, is flat-out crazy. It's 17 feet tall, five and a half feet wide. Gorgeoussssss!!!! It has an 80 ball bearings and 160 pulleys to create the incredible effect of reconfiguring into a sinusoidal curve when you push on any one section. Amazing!!!

Cool looking speakers

People are just trying to find new ways to make entertainment cooler looking. This new Opere Sonore Speakers look like an Ode to Spawn. I don't know if the speaker quality is worth its price but it sure is very interesting. These new speakers cost $263,000!!!! Insane price if I do say so myself.

Google and TiVo?

Yes the two Silicon Valley companies are teaming up. Google, which sells television and online ads, today said it agreed to subscribe to TiVo's user data. Now we have the internets awesome search engine with the worlds coolest television technology. What can be better. People are just coming up with more and more new ways to keep us entertained.

Facebook interfering with peoples lives!!

Many people suffering with health issues are ending up not getting the benefit from their insurance representatives. They are getting cut back of their health care because of photos on their facebooks. Insurance companies are stripping their customers of their benefits just by looking at their photos as evidence to their health issues. Facebook is ruining people's lives!!!!
Poor people, I feel bad for the ones that really do need the health insurance.

"TURKEY"

So, over the past 5 years the term Turkey has been searched on Google. Not only is there a country called Turkey but thanks to the yearly Thanksgiving the term gives Google its high search boosts. Turkey the country has maintained the top spot where people are searching for "turkey," followed by Britain and the U.S. But during November, it's USA all the way!

People are People

An ordinary online video gamer is suing Activision Blizzard, the makers of the online game World of Warcrafts for a bunch of stupid non thought out reasons. Estavillo believes that the game's monthly subscription fee is too high and that its various other charges are too numerous, and he also believes that the game contributes to his sense of alienation. How crazy can you get? This Estavillo guy obviously didn't think this suing thing through very well.

Hulu is the best video site on the internet. But things are beginning to have a price for watching whatever they want. Hulu's blocking startup video discovery sites like Rippol, Yidio and Clicker from embedding the videos. Hulu's content providers aren't too happy about somebody throwing all of that content into a single place that's not Hulu, even though theoretically, embedding is harmless—the video goods aren't being stolen, and Hulu still makes money off of the ads in the stream. I mean it's embedding!!!!

Finally a 69 year old graduate!!

It took only a half-century for a Phoenix student to return two overdue library books. On Nov.3 a letter arrived to Camelback High School with the money that should cover delinquency fees and a little extra in case the overdue rates had changed. The writer calculated that 2 cents per day for 51 years equaled $745 in late fees for two books.

1000mph Car!?!?

This cool Bloodhound car is meant to be faster than the speed of sound. Being up to 1000 mph, it's insane!! This car is yet to be built, but very serious. The builders of the car aren't amateurs, there are way too serious and have serious sponsors. It will use a EJ200 jet, and a one 18" hybrid rocket, and a V12 piston engines. The driver will be former RAF Wing Comander Andy Green, who broke the landspeed record in 1997.

Flare in Iran

On the 30th anniversary of the U.S Embassy's Seizure protesters in Tehran are in chaos as troops fire tear gas and beat antigovernment protesters. Radical students erupted in chaos and violence. Protesters in Tehran continued to gather in the streets and prepare for what they predicted would be a long night of clashes with security forces stationed at main squares around the capital.

Accident Sketch

Accident Sketch uses a template system. Cars, signs, pedestrians, and more all snap to the grid and in the case of small objects like signs can be moved from there. You can change the colors of things, zoom in and out to get as close or wide as you need, and even assign information to parties involved like the license plate numbers of the cars in the accident. Once you create a diagram you can also generate a text-based report to fill in details that can't be easily conveyed by the picture. I mean everyone has accidents and this is a great program to help you out with things.

Sprint Hero

A new android phone, faster, better, stronger, and with a generic look. Sprint's new phone the HTC Hero happens to be the best android phone you can buy. It doesn't suffer show-stopping slowdowns anymore, even with a full set of HTC's widgets running. Speedwise overall, it's about the same as a G1 running the stock Android OS—bearable, but not exactly a blitzkrieg

27 inches?!!

Whattt?! Mac has come out with a 27" screen. The default brightness is a bit much, but of course you can turn it down. And the contrast is welcome; even my new 13-inch MacBook Pro looks yellowed and washed out next to it. But at this pixel density, which is sharper than my notebook, it's almost too sharp, requiring me to sit closer than I would ordinarily do with a 27 inch display. This is a really great thing for mac as it has been evolving for many years.

Greeeen Energyy

Nimbus E-Power not only fueled by electricity, it manages a respectable top speed of 27 knots and a range of 20 nautical miles on a 4-hour charge. The boat may be priced 30 or 40 percent higher than an equivalent diesel powered craft, but you could save money over the 10 year life of the battery on fuel costs. Can't wait to see these things out there! It's good to see that people are trying to make more things green powered and are trying to make out environment a little better.

The Mole Webcam?

The Mole webcam infiltrates your inner sanctum, records the goings on and automatically sends the footage to YouTube. It can also notify you via email or Twitter. How cool is that?! It's also a great inexpensive surveillance camera. For $300, Astak also throws in motion detection, night vision, two-way audio and built-in DVR. The Mole is designed for direct access from any web browser, which lets users watch their video instantly, from anywhere, including the iPhone. Just keeps getting better.

Lakersss!!

"Lakers want to ring in new season carefully". The Lakers begin the season tonight against the Clippers, but not before they receive their championship rings from last season's successful playoff run.
"It's always one of the toughest games that you'll play because of the emotions," Kobe Bryant said. "You're in such a great space, feeling happy and content with what you've accomplished, and now you have to turn around and understand that this team is coming for your head."--LA Times
The Lakers have won eight consecutive games against their down-the-hall neighbors, blasting the Clippers by an average of 21.8 points.

Swine Flu vaccines are being given to everyone. So far, only 50,000 adults and children have been vaccinated against H1N1 flu countywide. An additional 94,000 doses of H1N1 vaccines are expected to be shipped to private and public providers in Los Angeles County this week. The "priority groups" were the ones to get the vaccination for sure. Oooo, a NEW Blackberry!!

The new Blackberry Curve 8900 has a sleek new twist to its classic look. It was supposed to be part of the 9000 series but lacking 3G, it stayed in the 8000's. Having a Blackberry phone myself is awesome, I love having one. It's my mini computer, set up with WiFi, letting me write down notes, camera/video, etc. It's camera has 3.2 megapixel which is pretty cool and a very nice new, elegant look to it. The 8900 has now been released to AT&T in the US. Can't wait to read or hear some reviews and this new phone.

Blackberry Updates

A new Blackberry desktop manager for Mac users is coming out. It allows people to sync data with Mac apps for contacts, appointments, tasks, and notes. The software also allows people to schedule back-ups, encrypt files, and perhaps most importantly, install software updates for their BlackBerry devices. Unlike iPhone software, which works with both Mac and PCs, BlackBerry Desktop Manager has only been available for Windows users. Until now, a third-party tool has been needed for BlackBerry devices to sync with Macs.

An Infinite Walkway??

A virtual reality researcher Hiroo Iwata has created a robotic walking tile. It's a pressure-sensitive fabric and ultrasonic sensors to predict movement, analyze positions and shuffle accordingly. You can pretty much walk on a cube without worrying about falling, it follows your every movement with sensoring the sound of your movements.

Family Guy causing complaints?

So, apparently Family Guy has been causing some complaints to some, something like 578 complaints in January, then 505 in February, followed by 179,997 in March!!! The Parents Television Council rates Family Guy, "red for sex". Family Guy does have very sexually, rated R kind of scenes that are making people wonder if their children should continue watching it.

Tablet Revolutionn

Tablets are either laptops with a screen that twists and folds flat and uses a stylus or fingertip for input, or something more like an oversize iPod Touch that's used for tasks like checking e-mail, getting on the Web, and watching videos. Still waiting for the tablet revolution , hopefully coming out in 2010.
Archos, known mostly for its media players, is also doing its first PC tablet. But theirs comes with the shiny new Windows 7 Starter Edition installed. Can't wait for this new multimedia device to check it outt.=]]

Israel's sad experience

An Israeli Pilot, Lt. Assaf Ramon died in the crash near the Israeli community of P'nei Chever in the southern Hebron Hills. During a routine flight as part of the advanced pilot training course the plane had crashed and they had no idea how the wreckage had happened. Assaf Ramon was the son of Israel's first astronaut, Illan Ramon, that had in the crash of the US space shuttle Colombia in 2003. All Assaf wanted was to be like his father and follow in his foot steps to become a pilot, but sadly ended up sharing the same fate as his father. We do and always will show honor to them and pay them respect.

'Lord of the Rings' Lawsuit Settled :)

J.R.R. Tolkien estate sued New Line over films. "The Tolkien estate had sued New Line for at least $150 million in damages for failing to pay 7.5% of gross receipts from the three films, which netted an estimated $6 billion combined." -- Eriq Gardner. The plaintiffs wanted a court order that would give them the right to terminate any rights New Line might have to other Tolkien works, including "The Hobbit." New Line and MGM have announced plans to turn that work into a film with "Rings" helmer Peter Jackson producing. Glad that this dispute has been settled on satisfactory terms.=]
